On a mission to challenge the status quo
by helping independent musicians become more than content.

Happily nested in
Loveland, CO
It was while attending college in Lincoln, NE that Jordan began working in the local, regional, and eventually national music scenes. What started as designing flyers for friends quickly evolved into promoting local concerts, and then into implementing and managing digital marketing campaigns for touring artists. Shortly after graduating from the University of Nebraska (Go Big Red) in 2015 with a marketing degree, Jordan packed his bags, headed out west, and relocated to Northern Colorado. Following a stint in the corporate world, Jordan joined a digital marketing agency based out of Fort Collins, CO. It was here that he honed his analytical and technical prowess before departing to form a restoration company with a couple of friends. He continued to freelance in the music industry while operating his restoration company, but something was missing. Fast forward five years later, Jordan decided to walk away from the company to pursue his dream of positively contributing to the independent music scene on a full-time basis — and Sonic Mallard was hatched. Sonic Mallard combines Jordan's years of music industry experience with his years spent branding, marketing, and scaling businesses. His passion for developing strategic brands using consumer psychology fuels his mission to help independent musicians become sustainable in their own music careers. When he's not working, you can find Jordan exploring beautiful Colorado, spending time with friends and family, and of course, experiencing live music.

Our Mission:
Sustainability for Musicians
Are you sick of seeing the same music marketing "tips" over and over and over again? Us too.
We're nerds for disruptive branding techniques that make you more than just a cog in the algorithm—while still following the principles of consumer psychology—so that the effect is felt long after a video is viewed or a song is streamed.
Trends come and go. Brands are eternal.
This is sustainability for musicians.

Agency quality minus the agency cost.
Agencies are great and all, but they're also expensive. We should know, we've worked for them. We'd rather focus on what we do best and only charge you for our time so you get the same premium creative services without paying for an agency's overhead expenses.
Transparency at its finest.
We don't want to bore you with a few success stories or tell you that some 90-day strategy is going to get you a million fans... because that's not how it works. Every artist is different and requires a unique approach. We've been doing this for a while, but will spare you the unnecessary fluff and cut straight to what you want to know—you get this deliverable for that cost.
It helps to have connections.
We don't claim to do everything. We don't want to do everything. Over the years, we've established relationships with a plethora of talented photographers, videographers, developers, illustrators, and marketers. So if a project calls for something extra, we know somebody.
